Tim Kipp will present a step by step analysis illustrating how the federal government has forcibly transformed the United States from a democracy into an oligarchy. His explanation reveals both the economic logic driving the transition and the political strategy used to effect it. Discussion will follow. Tim taught history and political science at BUHS for 39 years and has been a political activist since the 1960s. As Tim writes, “in fact, we are in a coup d’etat, and in an oligarchy.” Come to hear how and why.
